MHECWelcome to Sonitrol New England’s homepage for the Massachusetts Higher Education Consortium (“MHEC”) Contract MC13-E05 Fire, Security, Surveillance, Communications, Access Control Equipment, Systems Services and Supplies.  We have established this page to provide information about special pricing available to MHEC members and to allow you to submit your requests electronically.

MHEC membership is available to all not-for-profit public and private institutions of higher education, municipalities including elementary, secondary schools, technical, vocational and charter schools as well as other education institutions throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont.  The consortium has been helping members since 1977 to achieve cost savings and administrative efficiencies when negotiating competitive contracts.  According to MHEC, member schools have access to more than 55 contracted suppliers with more than 500 partners including global, national and small, minority and women-owned businesses.

As an approved vendor, Sonitrol New England is able to provide access control systems, security systems, video surveillance equipment, fire alarm systems, fire suppression systems, emergency communication systems, parts and accessories, installation, service and repair, test and inspection.

Sonitrol New England’s MHEC Contract MC13-E05 period begins September 1, 2013, and runs through March 31, 2016.
